Targeting youth with an app they will use
The Center for Unity is currently developing “The Jesus Metaverse” which is shaping up to be a web application that provides a non-linear reading experience of Jesus’ life and teachings, while also offering a platform where users can interact, collaborate and learn from each other.
The app is aimed at younger, truth seeking people and our hope and the ultimate goal is this – “to transform the world by sharing a new revelation of Jesus’ life, creating experiences that produce spiritual transformations.”

Creative Writing
The Creative Writing team is growing, with Chris Selmek, Rick Warren and André Radatus joining us in August.
Chris is writing the main page about Jesus. Imagine synthesizing the 777 pages of part IV of the Urantia Book and the information from the four synoptic gospels into a single narrative. Well, that is precisely Chris’ task.
Rick will write alongside Chris and André will be the team editor.
Data Curation
Our Data Curation team has also receive a significant boost. Mike Robinson will be joining Susan Lyon, Sandra Rymberg, Roland Siegfried and Maramis Choufani.
Mike will work with Susan and Sandra on the completion of the first pass of part IV of the Urantia Book, while Roland and Maramis are researching and writing.
User Experience
Lisa Tao has completed another version of the app prototype. You can see the entire progression of the last few month in these two videos: Part I and Part II. We are in the process of conducting our second focus group with our Millennial cohort.
We need your help
As you can imagine, this is a huge project but we have a team of enthusiastic Urantia students working on it. We have given the project to a programmer who is also creating the pages, functionality, and the look and feel of the Jesus Metaverse App. When completed, this will be given to our app developers, who will make it available on smart phones, tablets, and computers in both Apple and Android. This is our next fund raising challenge, but it will be the final major step to bring this project to completion.
We are estimating that we will need $60,000 for the app developers.
