Although this update does not have the details of this meeting, because of the publication date of this newsletter edition, we can tell you its purpose.
The writing and production teams are meeting at YES Productions & Morrison Productions studios in order to get to know each other and finalize the details of our endeavor. Although we meet regularly every week (via zoom), it’s crucial to have an in person meeting of the teams in order to get to know each other better. We’re also at a crucial stage where we have the general outline of the cinematic story for production, and need to begin developing the treatment (cinematic project) that will be shared with distribution/production companies.
I’m happy to share that this project is turning out to be greater than we expected. We knew that the story of Jesus as depicted in The Urantia Book would be impactful, but now it’s turning out to be monumental…
The richness we find in the Midwayer account of his life will be translated into film, where we’ll be developing the characters and presenting them like never before. It’s common knowledge among UB readers that Dr. Sadler came into full realization that this was a divine revelation when he read the description of the Apostles. We believe that the rest of the world will embrace this account of the Life and Teachings of Jesus, once they get to know the people that were part of his life.
The Urantia Book tells us that we need to understand the human nature of Jesus, in order to be able to relate to him and his very human struggles. We are carefully working to present this part of the Master, in order for any individual to be able to relate to him, and understand the personal relationship he had with the Father; so that they can take on this path of discovery and communion as well.
We believe that this account, that will be like none ever presented before, will touch the hearts of people and open them to Jesus. We will be touching on very human emotions, like the death of Joseph, and how his family lived through this tragedy. We’re confident that the human Jesus will touch the hearts of the world, and they in turn will understand his Divine nature.
