Teachings From Jesus 7
We want to share another teaching from Jesus.
“Devote your life to proving that love is the greatest thing in the world.” Jesus, 192:2.1 (2047.5)
This is a very important concept. Love embraces all, destroying evil and fear.
God is love, for this is an absolute; everything is comprised in this simple word. Love is the integration of Truth, Beauty and Goodness. Love is the rejection and eventual destruction of error, sin, evil and inequity… It’s comforting, accepting, delivering and embracing.
I could spend hours and hours of discourse on love, but let’s address this quote. What happens when we devote our life to proving that love is the greatest thing in the world? We begin to look at our existence through these lenses, seeing God in every person and every action. We begin to embrace our brethren, recognizing that although they may have sinned and even been in iniquitous paths, there’s always a path to redemption and a loving embrace. When we go out into the world with this in mind, we become simple, serviceable, and all things that occur can be dealt in a positive transformative manner.
If God is love, then proving that this the greatest thing in the world, is proving that God not only exists, but is also a loving father. Being motivated to prove this means that our entire life has to be a reflection of love. We take decisions and act according to the love within us. We allow our thought adjuster to be actively guiding us; making us a vehicle for God’s unravelment. We commune with God.
This simple quote can teach us how to live our lives.
